How to Use Virtual Private Server?

I just bought a virtual private server and I had the intention of using it for web hosting solutions... Please I am lost and I dont even know how to travel about it's usage.

If it's Linux then you have to swot up the Linux command line interface. You use a program called Putty to connect to your Linux virtual private server.

If it's Windows, then you use your Remote Desktop Client to remote control the server, and consequently you have to learn how IIS works.
You can ask your VPS provider to do your work, they might have given tech support to you. Usually virtual server provider give you free online technical support. just contact them and do it
