Do you buy one shared hosting account and put them all there or do you donate them their own separate accounts as a reseller? Or do you just tell them to go buy hosting somewhere? Ditto what be said before. Being a web host is an entirely different beast than developing a website. Web developers and designers simply do that aspect and will work in the limitations given to them. For example, a company may want to host their own website on their own computers and will only offer the ability to use JSP. They will find a developer who is comfortable next to that. Other companies will want you to do the legwork to find the host. That's fine, many developers will do that as well.

Agree with several here, we web developers only built websites, being a registrar or hosting company requires different expertise, investment and it is another charitable of business. Sometimes you can offer hosting by renting a server so you can be your small hosting but nowadays hosting is cheap so better leave this to the professionals. Domain name better dont get involved, let your client deal next to it or help him but in the end tolerate them own it and have the control on it.
